So until we get past the whole "this is how you turn your camera on" introductions at college, I have Fridays off because Friday is solely a prac day. Which is awesome, as most pracs can be done without the studio, a.k.a. no train rides. I'm feeling creative but homicidal at the fact that I have to keep visual journals for the next two years........ which will mean that I will fail epically for 8 of 9 years of art journalling. YAY FUN. It's only worth a quarter of our grades -.-
I dragged Lonnie to the beach at 4am this morning and bribed her into coming with the promise of Tower burgers. The whole thing was fantastic. The sunrise was later than expected, the tide was really high and reaaaaaaaaally choppy (to the point where we both got saturated, as did my tripod), it was FREEZING cold (except for in the water, which was about 2334985793487 degrees). But FANTASTIC. Really nice sunrise after an hour and a bit of waiting. I want to do this early rising thing more often. It's worth it, and even the morning traffic coming back (7:30) wasn't bad. A little congested, but only coming up Mona Vale Rd.
And I love my new lenses. I finally got to play with them. Yeah.
Oh and please, fishermen, when you walk straight past me, don't stand in every spot I'm trying to photograph, don't stay there for an hour, it greatly annoys me.
I am going loopy on lack of sleep!
